‘America’s Got Talent’ finalist and Tyler Perry player Zuri Craig dies at 44 from liver cancer
The actor played the lead role of Kym in the musical film “The Greatest Showman”
The musician also received Golden Raspberry Award nominations for his work on “Tyler Perry’s Madea’s Witness Protection Plan” and “The Hottie and the Nottie”
He became a father in 2015 to a son named Tyler and an older daughter named Zoe
The actor began his acting career on “Melrose Place” and was cast in his movie “The Last King of Scotland” in 2013
Former child star Tyler Perry has died of liver cancer at age 44, his rep confirmed on Thursday night.
The star of Tyler Perry’s Madea’s Witness Protection Plan, who was nominated for a Golden Raspberry Award in the category of Worst Supporting Actor for his portrayal of a gay man in the “Tyler Perry’s Madea’s Witness Protection Plan” and Tyler Perry’s Madea’s Witness Protection Plan” sequel, died on Tuesday morning from complications following liver surgery. He was 44.
Perry, who was also nominated for a Golden Raspberry Award in the category of Worst Supporting Actor for his portrayal of a gay man in the Tyler Perry’s Madea’s Witness Protection Plan sequel, told ET Canada on Wednesday that Kym’s (Kym Lynch) death was “kind of an inspiration” for him.
“Everything in my house is open. If you have a moment, just take a moment. Take a breath, but I’m talking about your kids. Just sit and be with them, take a look, and just be with them, and let them know that you love them and you want to be with them. Take a moment and do something that’s going to be fun for you. Don’t be scared. You should be scared.” Perry told ET Canada in the interview that is featured in his upcoming DVD release titled “Tyler Perry: I Believe. ” He said. “Don’t be afraid to take a moment to sit with your children and just tell them you love them and want to spend time with them.”
“I think that would be a nice message to Kym and to all the people who live with that,” Perry said. “I think that’s what’s inspired me. I think Kym’s death would be something that is kind of an inspiration to me, and that I would sit down and watch the movie
